Lisbon is a colorful metropolitan city with a rich multi-faceted culture. Whether you are in the city for business, family fun, a romantic getaway or a solo trip. We have found the perfect hotel to suit your needs, relax your mind and put you in the mix of all the vibrant nightlife and attractions in the city of Lisbon.

Situated in the city center and just a few minutes’ walk to the bustling restaurant filled street of Såo José, the Lisbon tram and Lisbon Elevator the Inspira Santa Marta is the perfect home away from home. And did we mention its ecofriendly.

Why we love it: The beautiful interior space is designed with a modern take on Feng Shui. The open lobby will pull you in immediately, with oversize chairs, enticing bar, tall ceilings and open space. The main staircase made of wood and glass makes the space seem much bigger than it is, with a deep set design you might just feel like you are entering a secret castle.

The Inspira is a Green Globe certified property which means they have taken extra steps in not only reducing their footprint but also in helping local communities, supporting charities and protecting natural resources. They have a green meetings program, water saving fixtures in all the rooms, LED lights and in room occupancy sensors that save loads of electricity. They are even carbon neutral thanks to their purchasing of carbon offsets.

The rooms are all designed with differing aspects of Feng Shui. With either fire, water, wood, earth or metal going into the design elements. These spacious, comfortable and relaxing rooms have all the comforts of home. With a well-appointed mini bar and espresso maker, your late night or early morning might have just gotten a little better too.

Sore or tired from a long day? Before you head off to dinner or bed spend an hour at their fantastic spa. Soak in the tub, blow off some steam, melt in the sauna or book a massage or facial, your body will thank you.

There are plenty of ways to relax and unwind at the Inspira, it’s the details at this hotel that really got us though. They sell local crafts made by autistic children at the front desk, and every bottle of water that is sold in the hotel goes to an organization that builds water pumps in Africa.  But that’s not all.

Their restaurant Open Brasserie Mediterrånica will indulge the senses of any foodie. The Mediterranean inspired menu changes seasonally, the chef picks and creates dishes based on what is fresh at the farm. It is also the only gluten free certified restaurant in Lisbon. They also have great vegan, vegetarian and lactose free options. With menus made from 100% renewable cork, origami lanterns made from recycled paper and a fantastic selection of hip cocktails with fresh local ingredients your hearts and your stomachs will be satisfied.
